Shaun King is also a pastor and used to work with Alverado. Because of King's own history, he felt compelled to tweet this info. I don't know if the church is Baptist, but I do believe it said Alverado came from a Baptist church originally.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10620781067677055351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874123597623259718.post-5209566894527786662011-03-19T10:02:03.548-05:002011-03-19T10:02:03.548-05:00The first link to that "Alan Hernández Badill...The first link to that "Alan Hernández Badillo cozumel" story shows up in Spanish. A lot of that stuff does indeed apply to Southern Baptist churches. For example, this is from his latest post, and it is just as true for Southern Baptist pastors as for IFB pastors: "... a pastor can always scurry back home to his personal empire where none shall say to him 'what doest thou?' and where he’ll never have to justify his actions to anybody. Autonomy means never having to say you’re sorry."Christa Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04560409585720043015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874123597623259718.post-26575807823939915292011-03-15T07:52:05.127-05:002011-03-15T07:52:05.127-05:00Christa,

And then other times, it can make you feel quite bitter, cause the results of that junk is not always so funny actually.

Anyway, his latest post is about the autonomy of Baptist churches.
